Contents of Incubation
Based on TKU's 11 schools and more than 724 faculties, TKU-IIC provides space,facilities,technology,training,and business management support.
Development Objectives
1. Specialized chemicals and nanotechnology
2. E-commerce, information management and security
Achievements
1. 14 SMEs obtained SBIR grants.
2. 7 SMEs obtained 37 patents, and 5 applications are under examination.
3. 1 SMEs earned the 2002 National Gold Award of Excellence, 2003 and 2005 Successful Case of SME Incubation, 2004 outstanding SBIR award, respectively.
4. 1 SMEs IPOed in 2004 in the US stock exchange market.
5. A cooperation contract signed between Okinawa Incubation Center (G-Wave) and TKUIC.
