Development Objectives
Through all resources and services that incubation center provides, the industries will start their enterprise smoothly. We are devoted to develop the service of wireless broadband, digital life, health care and green industry. The incubated industries can apply the research achievements of NTNU in their technology and products, and these industries can be helpful to local prosperity and national image.
Achievement
1. We were established in 1998, and we have incubated 46 small and medium enterprises.
2. There are 24 invention patents are created through our guidance.
3. There are 12 governmental subsidies are obtained through our assistance.
4. There are 4 investigative loans were developed through our help.

Contents of Incubation
1. Cultivated Items: help corporations to use the government's resources, request for grants and subsidies, so that the corporations can implement R&D tasks and apply for diverse awards, with our ordinary commercial service and administrative support, various office equipments required for newly incorporated companies in early stage, and management knowledge, training required for business operation.
2. Cultivated Industry: Information software/hardware sectors, multimedia communications, Creative business services
Development Objectives
The project is designed to cultivate venture businesses of IT software/hardware and media broadcasts, and give assistance to traditional industries in innovation campaigns. The short-term goal is targeted at cultivating approx. nine organizations regarding innovation or transformation, while the long-term goal is focused on developing the project synchronously by the coalition of the NOU’s thirteen learning centers throughout Taiwan.
Achievement
1. NOUIIC has been operated for three years. 10 firms are incubated and one of them could be operation smoothly already.
2. The investigated capital of incubatees in NOUIIC had been increased to NT$5.5 million.
3. “Women Business Incubation Alliance” has been organized by NOUIIC and other 4 incubators for 2 years. LBIA held training courses for female entrepreneurs and 250 participants have completed courses.
4. We have held training courses for 46 rounds; a total of 2,500 participants have completed courses. These are 252 training hours in total.

MCU Innovation & Incubation Center have been set up to create an environment with lower initial operation costs for entrepreneurs.
We provide R&D and management consulting to increase the competence of the enterprises through mutual cooperation and technology transfer.

Development Objectives
Mackay Memorial Hospital (MMH) was established in memory of Dr. George Leslie Mackay who followed in the footsteps of his
Master, Jesus Christ, by coming to Taiwan with the message of salvation for human beings.
MMH is one of the medical centers evaluated by Department of Health in Taiwan. There are four branches including Taipei,
Tamshui, Taitung, and Hsinchu. MMH have 631 physicians, research fellow 169, the total amasters of colleguse with
Ph.D or master degree are 243. There are 20 research groups in our medical research department which includes 2
molecular biology groups, a neuro-biology group, a biochemical genetics group, a hematological immunology group,
an electronic microscope group, a transfusion medicine group, and a cancer study group, etc.
The Incubator Center of MMH integrates the resources from various departments of the hospital to assist manufacturers
to develop their products. The Incubator Center of MMH will offer suggestion from many biocrats and help manufacturers
to growth and business development.
Achievement
The Incubator Center of MMH was established at June 2002, it already incubated seventeen small and medium enterprises.
We provide space and facilities support, technology and human resources, business management support, information and
data support, and administrative support, etc.

2. 7 SMEs obtained 37 patents, and 5 applications are under examination.

4. 1 SMEs IPOed in 2004 in the US stock exchange market.
5. A cooperation contract signed between Okinawa Incubation Center (G-Wave) and TKUIC.
